Contemporary red morocco, covers French filleted and stamped with the arms of Marie-Antoinette, smooth spine gilt, black morocco lettering piece, coated blue endpapers, gilt dentelles, edges gilt; skillful color restoration to spine and repairs to spine ends, tiny nick to upper joint, some streaking and mottling to upper cover and marginal staining to endpapers (both presumably from leather dressing).
