Dolinsky, 1913. ⁂ Trebnik troikh is an important Futurist work, primarily as the first anthology to contain exclusively poetry, but also due to the fascinating styles brought to bear by the likes of Khlebnikov, whose often linguistically challenging pieces are unclear whether fragment or whole, and Mayakovksy and his use, here for the first time, of the compound rhyme that would become his signature style, with its urban imagery and Cubist influences.
