The photographs were undoubtedly part of a display board that has been separated, a rare piece of hotel ephemera. Present is a print-out of a short piece from the Los Angeles Herald, July 2, 1904, about the opening of the hotel, noting that “The visitors were profuse in their praises of the new hostelry.” Lot Amendments Condition: Some staining and wear, good condition, but rare or even unique.
