( ) Adams S 1448; Renouard 131, 3; Schreiber 171; Moeckli 69. - Erste Estienne-Ausgabe des Gesamtwerkes. "The Greek text is followed by the commentary of Joachim Camerarius, and his Latin version of Ajax and Electra. In his preface Henri Estienne states that his forthcoming Greek 'Thesaurus' will cite the text of Sophocles after the page-reference of the present edition. He has again employed his peculiar system of diacritical notations" (Schreiber). - Teilw. gering gebräunt u. fleckig bzw. fingerfleckig. Slight browning and spotting in places. Bound in 17th cent. vellum, somewhat browned, later spine labels.
