STRENGER, Jacobus (1436-1495). Malleus maleficarum, in tres divisus partes, in quibus concurrentia de maleficia . Venice: Antonio Bertano, 1574. 8° (150 x 98mm). Woodcut vignette on title and final leaf, woodcut initials. (Some staining and fraying to edges, occasional soiling.) Contemporary vellum, manuscript title and shelf-mark labels (lacking ties, a few wormholes and some chipping and rubbing). Provenance : Casanova (ownership inscription) -- ink shelf-mark on title -- Compagnia del Gesú (stamp on title).
