Beschreibung:

Fair/Good (1.5). Tears, chips, abrasions, tape repair to cover, spine partly split; both pairs of glasses still attached (one pair has damage to one lens). Cream to off-white pages. Kurtzman cover. Art by Wood, Krigstein, Evans, Ingels. 1st 3-D EC mag. Features classic EC stories, completely redrawn in 3-D format from their original appearances. "The new Kurtzman-Wood 'V-Vampires!' ( MAD #3) [was] expanded from six to eight pages; they enlarged the original splash panel to fill a full page, and extended the opening sequence (a woman being stalked in the London fog) by several panels. The reworked version is even better than the original." -Bill Schelly, Harvey Kurtzman The Man Who Created MAD and Revolutionized Humor in America [Fantagraphics: 2015]. PBA Grading Guarantee: Any individual comic book lot (not group lots) graded by PBA is guaranteed to match CGC grading. If the buyer chooses to have the comic CGC certified and that certification is lower than PBA’s, the lot may be returned for a full refund of the sales price (hammer price plus buyer’s premium). See terms and conditions for details. Consignments Accepted for PBA's Next Comic Book Auction. Golden Age, Silver Age, Pre-Code, Original Art, Interesting Ephemera Sought.
