Including: 5 books, two titles of note being A Manual of Freemasonry Adapted to the Work and Government of the Lodges Subordinate to the Grand Lodge of Texas by William M. Taylor printed in Texas in 1899 and Through the war by Camera: A Weekly Artfolio of Current Events, on Land and Sea, in the Spanish American War of 1898, published by The Pearson Publishing Company in 1898. 4 paper advertisements for Teacher's "Highland and Cream" Scotch Whiskey, Smoke Gail and Ax's Little Joker Tobacco, a single hand sign language card, the Culberston Verb Wheel for French, and a booklet for Papier d'armenie as well as 22 collectible "Useful Birds of America" cards produced by Arm and Hammer Church and Company Soda. 85 real photo or lithographed travel postcards from Washington, D.C.., Panama, Buenos Aires, Mexico, New Mexico, Paris, Peru, and more. 4 opera programs, including 2 for the Metropolitan Opera House for Carmen and Borris Godunoff, a single program from the Grand Opera by Faust, and Official Liberetto for Aida. 4 year books from either the University of the South in Sawnee, TN or Thomas Jefferson High School in San Antonio, TX in the 1930s and 1940s. 52 issues of The Sawnee Purple and 5 issues of The Quarter Master from the 1940s. 96 other miscellaneous paper documents related to the University of the South, the ROTC in San Antonio, and other organizations. 4 bound volumes of the Bulletin of the University of the South in the 1940s. Brightly colored road map of Mexico along with a paper booklet, Mexico in Your Own Car, a guide by T.S. Power. A silk handkerchief featuring a printed menu. 8 postcard booklets of other destinations including Vera Cruz, flood views of San Antonio, Cuautla, Mocton and Parrsboro, N.S. Also included are beautifully printed souvenir folders of the Canadian Rockies and the Texas Centennial Exposition in Dallas in 1936. 40 tickets and promotional money for various companies and events. A mother-of-pearl handled serving fork and knife in its case. A box of iridescent beetle shells. A leather pouch and a beaded purse. Condition: Most items are in good condition.
