TWO MEISSEN GILT-METAL-MOUNTED FIGURES OF 'NODDING' CHINESE BOYS CIRCA 1750, THE MOUNTS LATER, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARKS TO BACKS OF BASES Modelled standing with left knee raised, the articulated nodding head resting on gilt-metal collars, each wearing a leaf-moulded hat, a short cape and flowing robes open at the front, the mound base applied with flowers and leaves and supported by gadrooned mounts with three scroll-cast feet, both heads and hats with some restoration, one with restoration to green cape, the other with restoration to right thumb, small chips to flowers and leaves on bases 11 in.
