(Some foxing.) Contemporary red straight-grained morocco gilt, gilt turn-ins, blue moire endpapers, g.e., by Bradel l'Aîné, with his ticket in vol.I (corners slightly scuffed). Provenance : monogram booklabel. Cohen-de Ricci (4° issue) 1033-34. Henry FIELDING. Tom Jones . Paris: Firmin Didot frères, 1833. 4 volumes. 8° (228 x 142mm). 12 illustrations by Moreau, engraved by Simonet, de Villiers frères, and Mariage, each in 4 states: eau-forte , avant lettres , avant lettres printed on papier de chine , and avec lettres .
