Inscribed and signed, with one seal of the artist Dated twelfth month, thirtieth year (of the Republic, 1941) Dedicated to Mengheng (He Mang Hang, 1916-2016) and Zhongyun (Wang Wenxing, 1914-2015) NOTE: This poem was composed in 1939 on a boat after the assassination attempt in Hanoi, during which Zeng Zhongming, a close friend and associate, was killed.
