Detailed information The special box (two miniatyr F1-tires) where made for the red and yellow version which where ment for the European market. The Omega Speedmaster Racing was introduced in 1996 and marketed by the brothers, and Omega ambassadors, Michael and Ralph Schumacher. Michael had signed for Ferrari in Formula One that same year and Ralph debuted in Formula One the year after. The Speedmaster Racing for the European market came in two different versions, one with a red dial and one with yellow. The year after, in 1997, Omega introduced a new one with a blue dial as a special edition for the Championship Auto Racing Teams (Cart), which was the equivalent to Formula One in the U.S.A. Apart from the colour of the dial, it also stands out from the red and yellow ones by having a Cart logo at 6 o’clock.
