Description: 1954 Citroen Traction Avant 11BL. The Citroën Traction Avant was a highly innovative car produced by Citroën from 1934, to a design by André Lefèbvre and Flaminio Bertoni It was the first mass-produced car with front-wheel drive and a unibody construction. 11BL (Léger). The Citroen starts immediately, runs like a train, drives and shifts fantastic. A "frame up" restoration was done in 1990 and despite it being restored more than 30 years ago it's in a beautiful condition. The original black color was repainted in this beautiful two-tone combination - beige and burgundy. The paint is in perfect condition with a beautiful patina. Interior is in beautiful condition, no stains or tears, showing that no expense has been spared in the restoration. It has sun visors which were optional at the time of purchase. The current owner has replaced the petrol tank with a stainless steel tank. The fuel pump, filter and sensor in the tank have also been replaced. Carburetor has been completely overhauled with new seals etc. Also a new battery. 106,000 km on the odometer. The car is currently registered as a classic car in Belgium.
