A Collection of Letters from the Alsheich Family (Rabbi Shalom ben Rabbi Yossef and his son Rabbi Yossef Chiya - Yechie"l), in Jerusalem and Eretz Israel. The collection includes drafts of letters as well as letters sent to the family. Jerusalem 1920-1950. Public and private letters, agreement on publishing of books, Rabbinical letters etc. An important and interesting collection to the history of the Yemenite community in Eretz Israel, the financial coping and security of the early days of the state of Israel and more. Rabbi Shalom ben Rabbi Yossef (1849-1944) was born in Yemen. He was considered of the greatest kabalists, was the Av Beit Din after the passing of Rabbi Shalom Araki, and the leader of the Yemenite community in Jerusalem. He authored Sefer Dover Shalom (otzar 18125). Over 70 letters and documents. Approximately 100 leaves. Large. Varying sizes and conditions.
