Comprising: 1) Bavarian example, the straight 30 inch blade with conventional blued and gilt decoration, German silver hilt comprising shell with Bavarian lion, lionhead pommel, mother-of-pearl gripscales with crest of Maximilian II (1848-62). Scabbard with German silver throat marked Johann/Strobleberger/Munchen. 2) Another, straight 31 inch blade with blued, gilt and etched decoration; gilt brass hilt comprising shell with Bavarian lion, scrolling pommel, knucklebow molded with foliage and lionmask, mother-of-pearl gripscale with crest of Maximilian II; leather scabbard with gilt metal mount. 3) Prussian cavalry officer's saber, slightly curved 31 inch nickeled blade, gilt brass stirrup hilt comprising lionhead quillon and pommel, outer languet with crossed saber, composition grip bound with gilt wire, incorrect black-painted scabbard. Condition: 1) Blade with light spotting, hilt fine, scabbard missing drag. 2) Blade with light pitting, hilt missing two gripscales, scabbard scuffed and dry with open seam and tear. 3) Sword fine, scabbard with wear, scratches and one dent.
