Property of a Distinguished Italian CollectorA Louis XVI gilt-bronze mounted Chinese porcelain pot pourri, the mounts circa 1765, the porcelain Qianlong period (1735-1796) the finial shaped as a figure, the body decorated with white stylised foliage, raised on three feet, restorations to porcelain28cm. high, 16cm. wide; 11in., 6 1/4 in.Condition ReportIn overall good condition. This would benefit from a very light clean, according to taste. The figure with minor rubbing would benefit from being securely re-stuck to the lid. The porcelain flowers at the top with some minor losses. One flower detached and would benefit from being securely re-attached. The brown porcelain of the lid and body with some minor cracks. The gilt-bronze in good condition, minor oxidisation and srcatches, consistent with age and use. Condition 11 of the Conditions of Business for Buyers (Online Only) is not applicable to this lot.
