The cast circular mirror with a tapering extension, the reverse engraved with two winged female figures, both perhaps Vanth, the Etruscan demon of the underworld, both depicted nude, their bodies in motion, each with one leg bent sharply at the knee, the figure to the left holding a decapitated head in her left hand, a sword in her right 8½ in. (21.6 cm) long
