AUSTRALIAN CRICKET TEAM 1934, team portrait, SIGNED IN INK ON THE MOUNT, at the foot by, Brown, Bromley, Wall, O'Reilly, Fleetwood-Smith, Darling, Grimmet, Chipperfield, Ebeling, Woodfull, Kippax, McCabe, Oldfield, Barnett, Ponsford, image 15.5 x 20.7cm, including mount overall 28 x 29.4 cm ( water stain at foot of mount slightly affecting Barnett's signature Although the photograph is not signed by him, the vice-captain Don Bradman does appear in the photograph, which was probably signed in Tasmania. Bradman, due to a need for a rest, did not play in any of the 3 pre-tour matches in Tasmania and Western Australia, before the team departed on the tour of England. Having recently moved to South Australia, Bradman boarded the RMS Orford at Adelaide before it travelled to Perth to pick up the rest of the team
