Charming personal letters from Miss Hannah More to her " dear Miss Burney " speaking of their mutual aquaintances and asking for her company. [With:] Autograph letter signed “Mrs. Raper” to Madame D’Arblay. King’s Parade Chelsea: [n.d.]. 3pp., folded sheet (119 x 89mm). A complimentary note, “ Amiable + like yourself, my dearest Fanny, is this good natured amusement…”. Condition: some areas of text slightly faded, evidence of mounting, some remants of wax seal, occasional spotting. (3). [With:] A collection of five autograph letters from various correspondents to Fanny Burney. Mary Dickinson, Mary Hamilton, Mrs. Harcourt, Mrs. North, Miss Palmer. Various sizes, various places, dates ranging 1782-1818. Condition: minimal paper repairs to some tears, some slight fading to text, evidence of mounting, one letter with burn mark through two sheets affecting text, some with remains of wax seal. (5).
