Unter den Tafeln sind neben den bekannten Darstellungen zahlreicher bekannter Altertümer und archäologischer Funde auch 24 Karten sowie zahlreiche Ansichten von Städten und Ortschaften, meist mit reizvoller figürlicher Staffage, darunter Coroni, Kos, Naxos, Pathmos, Rhodos, Scio u.a. Teil 2/II behandelt hauptsächlich Konstantinopel und Umgebung, dabei drei große Gesamt- sowie zahlreiche kleinere Detailansichten. Von besonderem Reiz sind auch die 21 großangelegten spätbarocken Textvignetten. Am Schluss von Bd. 1 ein nicht zugehöriges Bl. eingebunden. - Teilw. leicht gebräunt oder stockfleckig, stellenw. stärker, Tl. 2/I gegen Ende mit braunem Wasserfleck in der unteren Außenecke. Vereinzelt kl. Randläsuren; in Tl. 1, S. 15/16 unten mit Randausriss u. Taf. 104 im w. Unterrand etwas geknittert; in Tl. 2/I Doppeltaf. 3/4 mit rep. Randausriss u. in 2/II bei der Vierertaf. 126-129 Randeinriss u. Plattenrandbruch unschön mit Tesa hinterklebt. Overall, still a fine, broadmargined and uncut copy bound in late 19th century half-calf, somewhat rubbed and worn.
