A Louis XV style parcel-gilt and cream lacquered console CONDITION REPORT : - Good overall condition despite the inevitable losses and marks in accordance with age and use. - Some tiny chips and losses to the faux painted marble top. - Losses to the gilding and to the lacquered areas in places, revealing the gesso underneath. - One horizontal split and some restored cracks to the pierced floral decoration within the cartouche-shaped ornement decorating the front of the console. - Some horizontal cracks both to the left and to the right handside of the console. - Traces of previous accidents and restorations to the console's strut.
