HARRIS, JOHN. Navigantium atque Itinerantium Bibliotheca. Or, a Complete Collection of Voyages and Travels. London: T. Osborne etc. 1764. 2 vols., folio, 410 x 260mm. (16 1/8 x 10 1/4in.), contemporary calf, spines gilt with red and green morocco labels and vase ornaments, joints cracked, corners bruised and worn, very slight worming at lower inner corners of vol. 2 occasionally catching a letter, upper outer corners of most of vol. 2 dampstained, mostly affecting blank areas only but touching the Russian Empire map and 7 plates, some maps creased from poor folding. Third Edition, titles printed in red and black, 61 engraved illustrations, comprising 22 maps, mostly folding, and 39 plates. Sabin 30483 (incorrect plate count). Provenance : Claude Crespigny of the South Sea House, contemporary armorial bookplate. (2)
