Original tan cloth with red woven pattern, front cover lettered in black, red spine-label printed in black (boards bowed, some soiling); cloth folding box. Provenance : Ivan Boldizsar (presentation inscription to:) -- Lajos Baranyai. FIRST EDITION, PRESENTATION COPY INSCRIBED BY BOLDIZSAR, in Hungarian: "For Lajos Baranyai, beloved managing director, with deep respect and inestimable gratitude. 17 December 1937. Ivan Boldizsar". "A CLASSIC DOCUMENTARY PROJECT" ( The Photobook ). Boldizsar, novelist and screenwriter, was president of the Hungarian PEN Center, and one of the first people from a former Soviet bloc nation to receive an honorary degree in the United States.
