Venice: Robertus Meiettus and Bologna: Meiettus and Giovanni Battista Ciotto, 1592. Small 4° (210 x 145mm). Printer’s device on title, numerous woodcut illustrations or diagrams, ornamental initials, headpieces. (Lower margin of title repaired, light water-staining mainly in lower margin at beginning, outer margin of O4r repaired, stain in outer margin from fol. 95 to end, a few leaves browned or stained, some spotting.) Contemporary vellum, lettering-piece, author and date in manuscript on front cover (lightly soiled, extremities rubbed). Provenance : faded inscription on title.
