Manufacturer: Rookwood Artist: Edward Diers Description: Carved Sea Green vase with calla lily decoration, the work of Ed Diers in 1900 and then having electroplated copper applied to the carved areas. Unfortunately during the electroplating process the glaze began to flake off the piece, most notably near the bottom of the vase around the copper. Marks include the Rookwood logo, which indicates the date, shape 901 C, and incised G for Sea Green glaze and the incised monogram of Mr. Diers. There is also fine overall crazing. Height is 8 3/4 inches.
