Autograph corrections on the proof sheets of an unpublished work by Alexander Japp including biographical sketches of Tennyson's brothers, Frederick and Charles Tennyson, and of Arthur Henry Hallam, with examples of their poetry; additions and corrections in Tennyson's autograph on 4 pages and corrections by Hallam Tennyson on 2; blanks for an article on Tennyson, 112 pages, 8vo , and: TENNYSON, Hallam, 2nd Baron (1852-1928). Three autograph letters signed to Alexander Japp, Aldworth and Farringford (2), 9 May 1891 - 30 March 1892, 3½ pages, 8vo ; in a blue cloth case. Hallam Tennyson corrects Japp about some Coleridge notes, and comments on his editing, sending on his father's protest about comments on 'Locksley Hall'. A.H. Japp edited various works by De Quincey, but no work by him about Tennyson appears to have been published in book form. (4)
