The extensive and valuable collection formed by the late Henry Garratt-Adams, the majority well presented and written-up in two albums; comprising unused (c. 1800 with blocks of four and many large multiples), used (160), pieces (93) and covers/cards (135), the latter fully illustrating the periods of use; amongst the wealth of fascinating items the collection includes 1876 6p. unused (some creasing) and a range of used examples on covers (8) and large pieces/cover backs (5), 1879 ½a. tied to India ½a. stationery cover piece, 1880 and 1884 issues with unused selections and usage on cover, 1880 2a. unused and 4a. used; 1884-87 issues with several large unused blocks and a fine range of covers/cards; Officials with large unused blocks and a few covers, together with a few Revenues (6), Fiscal usages (14) and Proofs taken from defaced dies (15). A wonderful opportunity for the specialist.
