DUNS SCOTUS, Johannes (ca. 1265-1308) - Samaritanus ille piissimus spoliatum videns hominem et atrociter sauciatum miseratonis affectu compatiens [parte dell'opera: Quaestiones in quattuor libros Sententiarum]. Petri Lombardi. Edito da: Thomas Penketh e Bartholomaeus Bellatus. Venice: Johannes de Colonia and Johannes Manthen, [1476?, ma prima del 3 Ottobre 1477]. A wide margined copy on strong paper of the fourth and final part only of this work by the Scottish Franciscan philosopher. Folio (307 x 200mm). Opening initial decorated in red and blue, red and blue initials, Gothic text on two columns (lacking final leaf with register, without the first blank, some dampstaining and soiling, the final 7 leaves reinforced at outer margin and the final two with heavier dampstaining that causes a small loss at the upper margin, occasional small wormholes). Late 19th-early 20th-century binding backed in vellum, cardboard covers, author in gily on spine label (some stains and slight wear). Provenance: contemporary annotations and maniculae. The lot is accompanied by a export license.
