Süddeutsch um 1630. Eisen und Leder. Einteilig geschlagene, sechsfach gerippte Glocke mit Scheitelschleife, Augenschirm mit verstellbarem Naseneisen, vierteilig geschobener Nackenschirm, gelochte Wangenklappen. Unter dem Augenschirm geritzt «HV». Belederung einer Wangenklappe gerissen.

Helmet from the time of the Thirty Years' War, so-called «Zischägge»
South Germany circa 1630. Iron and leather. One-piece skull with six ribs and a bow at the top of the skull, eyeshield with adjustable nasal bar, four-piece neck shield, pierced cheekpieces. Under the eyeshield incised «HV». The leather of one cheek flap ragged.
