Np: c. 1870?. Both mounted albumen images, on an unmarked but contemporary mount. Approximately 150x105 mm. Condition : fading and soiling. An unusual cabinet card, with images on both sides. The outdoor image shows approximately 10 men, women and children in both western and native dress sitting on a drying rack? with thatched roof huts in the background. It has been suggested that the images are by photographer William S. Soule and were taken in the vicinity of Fort Sill, Indian Territory.
