JOAN MIRO André Breton Constellations , New York, André Breton and Pierre Matisse, 1959 (see D. 269-70; M. 192-3; C. books 58) the complete set of two signed and numbered etchings with aquatint (one in colors) and two signed and numbered lithographs in colors, hors-texte, title page, text in French, justification, on Arches, and 22 reproductions of the artist's gouaches (all with reproduction of a drawing and text on the reverse), signed in ink by the artist and author on the justification, the prints numbered 25/50, 25/100, 25/150, and 25/350 respectively, copy 25 (the total edition was 350), loose (as issued), the prints with the paper tone very slightly darkened, the reproductions and text with scattered pale foxing, all otherwise in very good condition, original cover with printing in colors and black on the front (minor surface soiling, a few foxmarks), original beige linen-covered portfolio printed in black on the front and spine (shredding and losses at the lower portion of the spine). 469 x 380 mm. album
