Turgot, Michel-Étienne]. Brétez, Louis PLAN DE PARIS COMMENCE L'ANNÉE 1734 ... SOUS LES ORDRES DE MESSIRE MICHEL ETIENNE TURGOT ... ACHEVÉ DE GRAVER EN 1739. [PARIS, 1739] Folio (21 3/4 x 16 1/2 in.; 553 x 417 mm), 21 double-page engraved plates designed by Louis Bretez and engraved by Claude Lucas, first plate, the overview, folded and colored-lined, the rest numbered 1-20 (plates 18-19 pasted together to form double-page folding plate). Very deep inking, some small tears in margins to 2 plates (not affecting images), overview with a repaired tear and a small tear at fold. Contemporary red morocco, covers with arms of the city of Paris in gilt, spine gilt in compartments with Fleurs-de-lys, olive morocco lettering-piece, all edges gilt; extremities slightly rubbed, repairs to one corner, as well as head and foot of spine, spine slightly torn at foot.
