Paris.' (on the side of the pedestal) bronze with dark brown patina Height: 28 ¼ in. (72 cm.) Conceived in 1948 and cast in bronze in a numbered edition of six, this example cast in 1950 Provenance Pierre Matisse Gallery, New York, by whom acquired in February 1950.
