Serial no. 209052 for 1862, .31 caliber. 5 inch barrel with one-line New York address. Six-shot cylinder with stagecoach holdup scene. Blued, casehardened and silver-plated finish. Varnished walnut grips. Complete with burgundy velour-lined Colt casing. Accessories include standing eagle flask, two cavity brass Colt's Patent mold, Eley cap tin and package of 6 skin cartridges for Col. Colt's Patent Revolving Pocket Pistol. Condition: Fine. Barrel retains 70-80% blue finish mixed with brown patina. Cylinder with grey metal, generous traces of blue and excellent scene. Lever lug and frame retain 90% casehardening with much vivid color. Triggerguard/gripstraps with 90% silver. Excellent grips with light wear at rim of butt. Case lid with light scratches. Lining with wear and staining, the lid lining with one 1 1/2 inch tear. Accessories very good. Cartridge pack with tears and losses to paper, one end open. See Illustration
