Cook, G. Cook and others after Turner. (Some browning and spotting throughout, volume 2 upper fore-edge bumped). Contemporary half morocco (some overall rubbing and chipping). FIRST EDITION. The Picturesque Views in England and Wales was "the most ambitious" of all projects for the publication of engravings after Turner, closely involving the artist himself and marking "a high point in the development of what has come to be known as the Turner school of engravers" ( DNB ).
