(184 x 126 mm). 73 leaves, mostly in gatherings of 10 and 12. 56 lines in 2 columns written in a dark brown ink in an extremely fine, miniature gothic bookhand between two verticals, ruled in drypoint, rubrics in red, justification: 115 x 74mm. an illuminated initial “I” with infills of pink and blue with white decoration forming a bird grotesque on f.12r at the beginning of Ruth, numerous three and four-line filigree initials of alternating red with blue flourishing, extensions in wide margins, red and blue numerals at the heads and margins. Modern green calf. Condition: f.28 and f.73 with some portions excised, tape repairs to ff.66-67, some leaves stained and foxed, text missing at the beginning and end; extremities lightly scuffed. an illuminated biblia latina on fine vellum .
